A flat performance resulted in defeat when a rare Laytown attack paid dividends.
A strange game played in a high wind which regularly took the ball into some trees and bushes beside the pitch meant the ball was rarely in play.
Spartak lacked the nous and creativity to break down the home defence. Niall Hanratty had the best chance but shot wide with only the keeper to beat.
A disheartening performance.
